This is the only LED headlamp I've ever owned, so I can't compare it to others by experience, but it seems well suited for the job. This is a super bright easy to use LED headlamp The straps fit snugly without being overly tight. And the light, powered by three 4xAA Batterys, is certainly bright enough for anything The lamp weights next to nothing so it's not dragging on your head. Definitely a good buy. aslo
